Based in the Historic carpet town of Kidderminster, Forte Cloth are a collection of talented, inspiring individuals creating innovative rug and carpet designs to overseas manufacturers in the USA, Belgium and Egypt.
We are looking for talented, driven, and self-motivated individuals to add to our creative team. This is a great opportunity to assist in the execution of high-end, fashion driven design in a fast-moving market.
Opportunities:
- To work closely with the design team and directly with CEO and Managing Director in the studio to meet short deadlines.
- Use our extensive archive to create on-trend designs for the USA Market and worldwide.
- Occasional travel around the world.
- A chance to learn Carpet design production directly with designers that have been in the industry for over 25 years.

Experience:
- BA Hons Degree in Textile or Design related subject. (Required)
- Experience with Cad Cam/ product design knowledge. (Preferred but not essential)
- Experienced with Adobe Photoshop and similar programmes (Preferred but not essential)
- Experience working to short deadlines. (Required)

Package:
- Salary £15-£25K pa based on experience and ambition.
- Company pension scheme provided.
- 28 Days Holiday including Bank Holidays.

Based in Kidderminster you will be expected to do 38 hours weekly from our offices.
