We are supporting a leading financial services business that is looking to hire a Newly Qualified Corporate Tax Associate into its growing tax team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to broaden their experience beyond compliance and gain exposure to a wide variety of tax matters in a commercial, fast-paced environment.
Working closely with senior members of the tax team and key stakeholders across the business, you will gain exposure to corporate tax reporting, advisory projects, international tax matters, and business partnering activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and review of UK and international corporate tax compliance processes.
- Support the tax reporting process, including quarterly and year-end tax provisions.
- Assist with the management of relationships with external advisers across multiple jurisdictions.
- Help analyse the tax implications of business initiatives, restructurings, and transactions.
- Support responses to queries from finance, legal, HR, and other business stakeholders.
- Monitor tax legislative developments and assess their impact on the business.
- Contribute to process improvement projects and help enhance the overall tax control framework.
- Assist with HMRC correspondence and other tax authority matters as required.
- Work alongside senior tax professionals on a range of ad hoc advisory projects.

Candidate Profile
- ACA and/or CTA qualified, or expecting to qualify shortly.
- Experience gained within a Big Four, Top 10, or reputable professional services tax team.
- Strong grounding in UK corporate tax fundamentals.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with non-tax stakeholders.
- Proactive, commercial, and keen to learn.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
