Regional Tax Manager – Americas
Tax & Treasury Recruitment have been engaged by a major international group to find a Regional Tax Manager to take responsibility for their US and LATAM entities.
This position has been created and is a broad, strategic role that will be incredibly rewarding for an experienced tax professional that seeks interesting complex work.
This is a PE-backed business operating across 40+ countries, navigating a complex landscape of corporate tax, indirect tax, cross-border taxes, and permanent establishment structuring.
Your Role
This is a highly strategic and business-facing position covering direct and indirect tax across the US and LATAM.
You will be the go-to person in the team for all tax matters within the region.

This will include:
- Taking ownership of group reporting under IFRS.
- Acting as the project and engagement manager for regional compliance, which is outsourced to external advisors and supported by a Shared Service Centre.
- Leading transfer pricing compliance and managing complexities around cross-border taxes, imports/customs and a variety of international issues.
- Managing withholding tax, cash repatriation, and advising decisively on Uncertain Tax Positions.
- Partnering with the business to evaluate the P&L impact of taxes on various projects across the business.
About You
- UK based with full working rights.
- An experienced tax professional, ideally 3-5 years into your in-house career following a move from a Big 4 or Top 10 practice.
- A proven track record handling complex cross-border tax issues and managing tax risk across the US and LATAM.
- Highly commercially minded with the ability to take ownership, balance risk, and make fast, autonomous decisions rather than relying on the Head of Tax.
- Strong tax reporting experience.
- Ability/Drive to solve complicated problems whilst also managing workload with shifting priorities.

You can expect
- A salary of £90,000 - £100,000.
- Fully remote working from anywhere in England or Scotland, with the option to work from the Aberdeen or London office.
