Role Overview

We’re looking for a Video Editor to help develop and elevate Lumos’s visual style across film and social content. As the brand grows, we need someone who can move confidently between quick, engaging social edits and more considered, longer-form films for YouTube and beyond.

We’re a small team, so the role will be varied and hands-on. We’d love someone who brings fresh ideas, enjoys sharing them with the team, and can tell compelling stories about music, musicians, historic buildings and the people behind our events.

With events across the UK, Europe and the US, you’ll be keen to explore local stories and create content that connects with audiences in each market. You’ll also be curious about how your content performs, using what you learn to shape future work.

There’s plenty of room to experiment with new formats, visual styles and creative concepts, with a team that welcomes ideas.

Videography experience would be a bonus, as would a willingness to travel to shoots in the UK or Europe. Ideally you’ll be based in London or within travelling distance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Edit footage into engaging social content, paid ads, YouTube films and wider campaign assets
  • Move confidently between quick, platform-native edits and more polished, cinematic films
  • Tell stories about our musicians and their craft, our audiences’ connection to the music, and the people behind our events
  • Bring the atmosphere of Lumos to life through thoughtful pacing, music, sound, colour and typography
  • Create multiple cuts, formats and versions from each shoot, making the most of the footage available
  • Work with interviews, live performances and behind-the-scenes footage to build compelling narratives
  • Develop ideas for new formats, visual styles and creative concepts, and present them to the team
  • Explore local stories across our UK, European and US markets, adapting content for different audiences
  • Collaborate on shoot briefs, helping identify the footage and interviews needed for a strong edit
  • Review content performance with the team and use those insights to inform future work
  • Build and maintain an organised, searchable bank of Lumos footage and finished assets
  • Help develop a consistent Lumos visual style as the brand grows
  • Support the wider team with creative versioning and production where capacity allows
  • If you have videography experience, contribute to shoots by capturing performances, interviews and behind-the-scenes content on camera or phone

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
