About the role

We’re seeking an experienced and passionate In Room Dining Manager to lead and oversee our In Room Dining operation, while also managing our Canal Barge Dining experiences, Picnic offerings, and Café Santé outlet.

This is an exciting leadership opportunity for a hospitality professional who thrives on delivering exceptional guest experiences across multiple food and beverage concepts. You will be responsible for ensuring outstanding service standards, driving operational excellence, and leading a team committed to creating memorable dining experiences for every guest. Working closely with the Food & Beverage and Culinary teams, you will oversee daily operations, maximise guest satisfaction, manage financial performance, and ensure the highest standards of service, quality, and presentation are consistently achieved.

What you will do

  • Lead the day-to-day operations of In Room Dining, Canal Barge Dining experiences, Picnic services, and Café Santé
  • Ensure exceptional guest service standards are consistently delivered across all outlets and experiences
  • Manage, motivate, and develop a high-performing team through coaching, training, and performance management
  • Coordinate with the Culinary team to ensure seamless food delivery, presentation, and quality standards
  • Monitor staffing levels and create schedules that support operational demands and service excellence
  • Drive revenue opportunities while managing costs, labour, and departmental budgets effectively
  • Handle guest feedback and resolve service issues promptly and professionally
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety, health & safety, and company policies and procedures
  • Monitor stock levels, ordering requirements, and inventory controls across all managed outlets
  • Identify opportunities to enhance the guest experience and contribute to continuous operational improvement

What You’ll Bring

  • Previous management experience within Food & Beverage, In Room Dining, Restaurant, or Hotel Operations
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop teams
  • Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and personalised service
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple outlets and priorities simultaneously
  • Strong understanding of financial controls, budgeting, and labour management
  • Knowledge of food safety, health & safety, and hospitality industry best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach with strong attention to detail
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
