In-Store Lab Technician
Vision Express | Oxford Street, London
At Vision Express, we're passionate about delivering exceptional eye care and outstanding customer experiences. As an In-Store Lab Technician in our flagship Oxford Street store, you'll play a vital role in helping customers see clearly and step out with confidence by producing high-quality prescription lenses and glasses.
Working within our busy optical laboratory, you'll be responsible for manufacturing, glazing and fitting lenses to exact specifications, ensuring every pair of glasses meets the highest standards of quality and precision. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to build a career in optics, whether you're an experienced Optical Lab Technician, Glazing Technician, or are looking to start your journey in the optical industry.
You'll join a fast-paced environment where attention to detail, technical accuracy and teamwork are essential. Full training and support will be provided, and previous experience in an optical lab is desirable but not essential.

About You
We're looking for someone who is:
- Detail-oriented with excellent accuracy and attention to detail
- Technically minded and comfortable working with machinery and specialist optical equipment
- Organised and efficient, able to manage workloads and work to deadlines
- Quality-focused, taking pride in producing high-quality prescription eyewear
- A confident communicator who can work effectively with colleagues and customers
- A team player who enjoys working in a supportive store and laboratory environment
