Job Title
Serves as the master of program execution at the store / local level. Creates all in-store communication materials, signage and point-of-sale communications from design through placement, and owns website updates, email campaigns, paid social and organic content, store events and follow-up activation with our PR agency. Works closely with store Team Members to implement programs that drive customer engagement and basket expansion. Provides clear direction, troubleshoots emerging issues, and gives feedback for continuous improvement. Ensures store-level programs are aligned with regional and global marketing strategy.
Responsibilities
- Implements marketing programs (campaigns) at the store level, in partnership with store-level Team Members.
- Translates deadlines and deliverables into concrete, store-level jobs to do.
- Serves as the liaison between stores and regional marketing.
- Works with store, buyers, operations, and other key stakeholders to understand signage and local marketing requirements and anticipated changes.
- Creates all in-store communication materials, owns signage and point-of-sale communications end-to-end, from design through production, delivery, and placement.
- Works with various signage design, production, and delivery stakeholders – internally and externally – to provide advance notice about signage requirements and upcoming changes.
- Works with store teams / stakeholders to facilitate signage ordering, production, delivery, and placement.
- Owns website updates, email campaign creation, paid social and organic content, and follow-up activation with our PR agency to amplify programs.
- Provides hands-on assistance to store-level Team Members as necessary to ensure program success.
- Monitors store signage experience to identify logistical, production, placement, and other issues.
- Works with customer analytics to understand how signage design and placement impacts and influences customer perceptions and buying patterns.
- Prepares reports for distribution highlighting signage processes, placement, and impact observations and providing recommendations for improvement.
- Coordinates program activity to ensure alignment with global marketing standards, practices, and objectives.
- Collaborates with Purchasing to implement promotional inventory and new / local products.
- Manages vendor / partner program integration into seasonal marketing programs.
- Maintains and grows the regional vendor database.
- Prepares reports with findings and recommendations on program performance.

Skills
- Working knowledge of marketing concepts in a retail environment, including brand management, channel management, and communication strategies.
- Excellent written, verbal, and listening skills; translates technical information for non-technical audiences (our customers) and stakeholders. This person takes others with them, a leader in the role who makes sure people know about the programs and contribute their parts.
- Rallies cross-functional colleagues and external agencies around program goals, builds buy-in, and ensures every stakeholder understands their role and delivers their part.
- Able to own end-to-end execution of signage and point-of-sale communications: ordering, production, delivery, and placement, across the store portfolio.
- Understanding of signage design, development, production, and delivery.
- Prepares clear reports on signage / program processes, placement, and impact for every program we launch.
- General understanding of consumer insight analytics and related marketing, retail, and customer engagement metrics.
- Strong ability to create accessible, easy-to-understand communication in multiple formats. Demonstrated ability to assess marketing initiative impact on customer behavior and bottom line performance.
- Maintains positive working relationships with cross-functional stakeholders (buyers, stores) and with third-party vendors and service providers.
- Ability to problem solve and plan, estimate, organize, and monitor program activity.
- Ability to keep programs on track financially, creatively, and in accordance with stakeholder objectives and deadlines.
- Able to identify alignment / misalignment of team project goals with larger organizational strategy, goals, and objectives.
- Welcomes and seeks feedback. Responsive and receptive to direction and coaching.

Education & Experience
BA/BS degree and 6 years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

The wage range for this position is £41,600.00-£56,160.00 Annual, commensurate with experience. Whole Foods Market offers "Whole Benefits".
