As an In Store Visual Merchandiser within our New Bond Street Fashion Boutique, you will play a key role in bringing the CHANEL Fashion vision to life and ensuring the highest standards of visual excellence are consistently maintained across the boutique.
Working in close partnership with the Boutique Management, and wider retail teams, you will be responsible for maintaining and evolving product displays, supporting collection launches, and ensuring the boutique always reflects CHANEL's global image guidelines while responding to local business needs.
A key aspect of the role will be applying creative thinking alongside sound commercial judgement. As collections evolve and key pieces sell through, you will work closely with the Merchandising team to thoughtfully mix collections and reimagine displays- maintaining a compelling, coherent client experience while making the most effective use of available product.
This is a highly collaborative and hands on role that sits at the heart of the client experience. It offers the opportunity to work closely with multiple Fashion functions, contribute to the success of our flagship boutiques, and occasionally travel to other UK locations and international destinations to support visual merchandising initiatives.
WHAT IMPACT YOU CREATE AT CHANEL
You will help create an inspiring boutique environment that showcases our collections at their very best and elevates the client experience through exceptional visual presentation.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining the highest visual merchandising standards across the boutique in line with CHANEL guidelines and business priorities.
- Supporting the execution of window displays, in store presentations and display adaptations to ensure collections remain relevant, engaging and commercially effective.
- Driving product rotation and refreshes in collaboration with retail teams, ensuring product visibility is continually optimised.
- Managing visual merchandising tools, props and inventory, ensuring displays are maintained to the highest standards.
- Anticipating upcoming merchandising needs and preparing for daily and seasonal visual changes.
- Supporting boutique teams with the efficient handling of displayed products and mannequin looks.
- Contributing to collection launches and special installations, including evening and overnight visual merchandising activities when required.
- Building strong partnerships with boutique, merchandising and marketing teams to ensure a seamless and consistent expression of the CHANEL Fashion universe.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE
- Previous experience within visual merchandising, preferably within luxury fashion or a premium retail environment.
- A strong appreciation and knowledge of fashion, art and culture, with an understanding of how these influence luxury client experiences.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic retail environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining exceptional standards.
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different teams.
- A proactive, adaptable and solutions-focused approach.
- The ability to balance creativity with commercial awareness when executing visual merchandising initiatives.
