The Role
We are seeking a talented and creative UX/UI Consultant (Information Architecture) to join our delivery team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design, with a strong understanding of information architecture principles.
IFT is a UK-based company. However, this is a remote-first role. We welcome applications from talented individuals across regions within the European timezone, who can work within our core hours. English at an advanced level is a requirement.
This role is hands-on, requiring a strong understanding of the user journey and how design decisions impact website conversions and user engagement. Whilst you'll collaborate closely with developers and other team members, a solid grasp of basic web development principles and content strategy will be beneficial.
The UX/UI Consultant role plays a pivotal role in shaping the user experience (UX) of our clients' websites. You'll leverage your design expertise to provide strategic guidance throughout the design process, ensuring projects are delivered on time and meet user needs.
The Core Responsibilities
- Client Collaboration: Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the website design process, fostering strong relationships and understanding their business goals and target audience.
- Strategic Guidance: Leverage your UX expertise to provide strategic recommendations that improve user experience and achieve client objectives.
- Project Oversight: Manage website (design, CRO, UX/UI) projects from conception to completion, ensuring they stay on schedule and within budget.
- User Research & Goal Setting: Collaborate with clients and the team to define user needs, and establish project goals, KPIs, and timelines for successful project delivery.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain high-quality design standards throughout the project lifecycle and ensure they are implemented accordingly.
- Reporting & Communication: Provide regular progress reports to clients, keeping them informed and gathering feedback throughout the design process.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
