Summary

Support the smooth running of the inbound supply chain by ensuring ingredients and packaging are available when required, maintaining appropriate stock levels, and working closely with suppliers and internal teams to meet production requirements.

The Role

Reporting to the Inbound Supply Chain Manager, the Supply Chain Co-ordinator will play a key role in ensuring production has the materials it needs to operate efficiently.

Working closely with suppliers and teams across Supply Chain, Planning, and Production, you will manage stock levels, resolve supply issues, and support effective change management. Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities will be essential to ensuring changes are implemented smoothly and waste is minimised.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure ingredients and packaging are available in line with production plans and requirements
  • Liaise with suppliers daily to ensure orders and deliveries meet business requirements
  • Monitor and maintain stock levels in line with agreed targets
  • Work closely with Supply Chain, Planning, Production, and other teams to resolve issues quickly
  • Coordinate change management activities, ensuring accurate ordering and minimising waste
  • Escalate potential supply or service issues that could impact production
  • Ensure invoice queries are resolved and processed within agreed timescales
  • Attend project, new product, and de-list meetings to support supply and ordering decisions

The Ideal Candidate

  • Strong communication skills with the confidence to work with suppliers and key stakeholders
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and projects within a fast-paced supply chain environment
  • Experience in supply chain, procurement, planning, or a similar environment would be advantageous
  • Previous experience of change management would be beneficial
  • Proactive and solutions-focused approach to problem solving
  • Strong team player with a commitment to delivering objectives and KPIs
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
