Description

Join LOCALiQ and make an impact in local media.

Looking for a part-time role where you can put your communication skills to good use and earn commission on top of your basic salary?

LOCALiQ, part of Newsquest Media Group, is looking for a motivated and customer-focused Inbound Sales Advisor to join our team. You'll be the first point of contact for businesses interested in advertising with some of the region's most trusted local news brands, helping them find the right solutions to promote and grow their business.

This is a telephone-based role focused on handling inbound enquiries from businesses that have already shown an interest in our products and services. You'll take the time to understand their goals, explain the options available, and recommend advertising solutions from our digital and print portfolio.

Whether you're an experienced salesperson, have a strong background in customer service, or are looking to develop your commercial skills, we'll provide the training and support you need to succeed.

This is a part-time position, working Monday to Friday during office hours. To be considered, you'll need to be based within commuting distance of the office and be able to work 22.5 hours a week

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
