Here at GXO, we are looking for an Inbound Shift Manager to join our team on our NHSSC contract at our Daventry site. You’ll play a key role in motivating and being a proactive individual to support the day-to-day operation, ensuring performance targets, service levels, and customer expectations are consistently achieved. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in driving operational excellence, developing colleagues, promoting a strong safety culture, and building effective relationships across the business.
This is a full time, permanent, position working Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £42,000 per annum, and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Manage the warehouse operation throughout the shift, ensuring targets and service levels are achieved
- Ensure all inbound, storage, picking, packing and outbound activities are completed efficiently
- Lead, motivate and develop warehouse colleagues and Team Leaders
- Set clear expectations and monitor individual and team performance
- Maintain a strong safety culture and ensure all employees follow health and safety procedures
- Identify quality issues and implement corrective actions
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and take action where performance falls below target
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Relevant warehouse, logistics or management experience
- Health & Safety training is desirable
- Management or leadership qualification is desirable
- Relevant warehouse or logistics qualifications are advantageous
