About the Role: Incident Responder
We’re seeking exceptional Wizards to join our Incident Response (IR) team. This is an opportunity to collaborate in building something truly impactful from the ground up—a role for those with a strong cloud security foundation, adaptability, and a passion for innovation.
Summary
We’re looking for an experienced Incident Responder to investigate real-world cyber-attacks in cloud environments, collaborate with customers during incidents, and proactively hunt for undetected threats. Collaborate with internal teams to refine incident response strategies and drive AI-powered security improvements.

Key Responsibilities
- Investigate real-world cyber-attacks on customers’ cloud environments and cloud workloads, determining root causes and full scope of compromise using the Wiz platform.
- Conduct proactive threat hunting to uncover undetected cyber-attacks and cloud threats within customer environments.
- Collaborate with customer security teams to improve response to threats and vulnerabilities during engagements.
- Develop and deliver professional incident response reports, including high-level summaries and detailed technical findings.
- Establish and document incident response methodologies, best practices, and standard operating procedures tailored to cloud environments.
- Work with threat research and engineering teams to improve incident detection, tools, and features based on real-world investigation insights.
Who You Are
Experience & Skills
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, cyber-incident response, and threat hunting.
- Solid foundation in Cloud Security, including:
- Knowledge of major cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Familiarity with Kubernetes and cloud architecture.
- Deep experience in OS internals, including Windows and Linux.
- Proficient with scripting languages and querying languages (e.g., SQL, Python, YAML).
- Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
