- 8.30 am – 3:30pm (unpaid 30 minute lunchbreak)

About Kingsway Community Primary School
Kingsway Community Primary School is at the heart of our community, is for children aged between 4 to 11 years old, which is situated in Leamington Spa, and is currently undergoing extensive renovation. We are committed to creating a caring and nurturing environment where all children can flourish and show their true potential.

Kingsway Community Primary School is part of the Community Academies Trust, a multi-academy trust with the express purpose of transforming schools in community Hubs, through applying a holistic view of education.
The day-to-day role will consist of:
- Supporting pupils with their learning and striving for excellent educational outcomes for all pupils including those with SEND
- Liaising with outside agencies for advice and support
- Working with pupils on a 1 to 1 and group basis depending on need
- Monitoring progress of pupils and assessing progress in a lesson
- Running intervention groups
- Communicating well with colleagues about pupil progress
- Adapting resources and the environment to meet the needs of the children
Our learners at Kingsway require someone to support their learning who can demonstrate:
- Excellent classroom practice including delivery of intervention groups
- Highest expectations of achievement and behaviour
- Strong spoken / written English and numeracy skills
- Experience of working with SEND pupils
- A passion for all children to achieve success
- Enthusiasm, creativity, and make a positive contribution as part of our team

Qualifications and Experience:
- A Level 3 Qualification or equivalent is essential, and working towards and experience in a primary school setting is preferred. We encourage potential candidates to visit the school to find out more about us. Please contact the school office to arrange a convenient time to visit.

The role is covered by part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016, and therefore the ability to speak fluent spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.
