Inclusion Mentor - 0.88 FTE

We’re looking for a highly motivated Inclusion Mentor to join our established learner experience and progress team. You will have the passion to inspire every learner to reach their full potential regardless of their starting point.

As a support colleague you’ll go into the Local Government Pensions scheme and enjoy some really great benefits as well:

  • Free on-site Gym at Beaufort Road
  • Beauty treatments and haircuts
  • Health care cash plan via Simply Health
  • Saving clubs via Manchester Credit Union
  • Cycle to work
  • Costa Coffee on site
  • Onsite bakery products at Tameside One

Here’s the standard bit: You will support learners with low attendance, pastoral and behavioural challenges particularly relating to learners with Social Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. You will work alongside teachers and other support teams to break down barriers and ensure that learners are able to access the curriculum and reach their full potential. You will focus on and develop positive behaviour in and outside the classroom and minimize disruption to learning. You will also have a caseload of learners with low attendance to get them re-engaging and supporting with improving their attendance to college.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
