Inclusion Trainer & Consultant – Associate (School & Education) The Inclusion Edit
About the Role
We are looking to expand our network of experienced School Inclusion Trainers & Consultants to support training, workshops and consultancy projects with schools across the UK.
This is a flexible Associate opportunity, with work offered on an as-needed basis as school projects arise. Each opportunity will be agreed individually, including scope, dates and fees.

The Inclusion Edit is an award-winning inclusion consultancy and digital resource platform supporting organisations and schools to embed inclusion in practical, meaningful and sustainable ways.
Our work includes training, consultancy, inclusion audits, tailored resources and our Inclusion Impact Platform, providing practical tools, learning and ongoing support.
We believe inclusion needs to move beyond one-off conversations and become embedded in everyday systems, decisions, behaviours and culture.
The Role
As a School Inclusion Trainer & Consultant, you will support The Inclusion Edit with the delivery of school-based and online training, workshops and consultancy.
Projects may involve staff, leadership teams, pupils or wider school communities and could include training, workshops, inclusion strategy, curriculum and representation, audits or bespoke resource development.

You may deliver sessions independently on behalf of The Inclusion Edit, while representing our values and approach.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone with:
- Experience working in primary and/or secondary education, with a strong understanding of school environments and curriculum
- Previous experience as an EDI, Equality, Diversity & Inclusion or similar lead within a school, or significant experience leading inclusion work within an educational setting
- A genuine passion for education, inclusion and creating positive change
- Experience delivering training, workshops or CPD
- Confidence facilitating engaging, interactive sessions for staff and/or pupils
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- The ability to create engaging PowerPoints, activities and learning experiences
- The ability to translate complex inclusion concepts into practical, accessible approaches
- Ability to work with school leaders to understand inclusion priorities and provide practical, evidence-informed recommendations
- A strong commitment to anti-discriminatory practice and creating inclusive, respectful spaces for learning and dialogue
- Ability to deliver both online and in person
- Willingness to travel across London and occasionally elsewhere in the UK

Types of Work
Depending on your experience and client needs, this may include:
- Staff training and CPD
- Interactive workshops
- Pupil sessions and discussions
- Inclusion strategy and consultancy
- Curriculum and representation work
- Inclusion audits and reviews
- Developing bespoke presentations, activities and resources
Working Arrangements
- Associate/contractor basis
- Work offered as and when projects arise
- No guaranteed hours or minimum commitment
- Online and in-person delivery
- Travel expenses covered where applicable
- Fees agreed on a project-by-project basis
