About The Role
Reporting to our Income Max Team Leader, you will play a key role assisting in maximising income paid to the Association by service users using methods compatible with our values of Respect, Inclusive, Integrity, Improvement & Support.
You Will Play a Key Role In
- Providing admin support for Income Maximisation Team, answering phone calls on behalf of the IMT and deal with general enquiries.
- Monitoring former tenant arrears including cause of arrears. Following both the write-off procedure and the former tenant balances procedure and populate the write-off spreadsheet appropriately.
- Maintaining close and effective working relationships with statutory and other agencies affecting Housing Benefit/Universal Credit and other rental income.
- Process daily notifications from Finance in relation to Direct Debits returned or cancelled and send letter accordingly. Noting on CX and advising Income Max Officer.
- Completing verification tasks through the Universal Credit Landlord Portal and apply for Managed Payments to Landlord [MPTL] and arrears deductions, where appropriate.

About You
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with a customer centered, flexible, confident approach.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Strong communication skills across phone, email and digital channels.
- Experience using Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Forms, Outlook and Excel.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working as part of a team.
