We’re looking for a proactive and customer-focused Income Recovery Officer to join our Income Management team.

This role has a specific focus on our Leasehold, Shared Ownership, Market Rent and Rent to Buy portfolio, helping to ensure income is recovered effectively while providing a professional and supportive service to customers.

If you have experience in debt recovery, negotiating repayment plans and balancing a commercial approach with excellent customer service, this could be a great opportunity to develop your career within a growing and diverse housing portfolio.

About the role

As an Income Recovery Officer, you'll take ownership of a caseload of arrears accounts across our non-social housing portfolio. You'll work closely with customers, colleagues and external partners to maximise income recovery, prevent debts from escalating and ensure legal processes are followed appropriately where required.

This is a varied role that combines case management, customer engagement, negotiation and problem-solving, with a strong focus on achieving positive outcomes for both customers and WCHG.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
