Role Description

The Independent Business Advisor and Consultant will work full time, on-site in the United Kingdom, supporting clients in assessing their AI readiness and defining strategic opportunities. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

The role involves:

  • Leading client workshops
  • Presenting AI Roadmaps
  • Preparing clear recommendations and reports
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to support implementation plans

The advisor will also:

  • Nurture client relationships
  • Provide ongoing consulting support
  • Stay current with AI trends and best practices relevant to SMEs

Qualifications

  • Strong Analytical Skills to assess business performance, interpret data, and identify opportunities for AI-driven improvements.
  • Consulting and Management Consulting skills to facilitate workshops, design strategic roadmaps, and advise clients on organizational change.
  • Excellent Communication skills to present complex AI concepts clearly, engage stakeholders, and produce concise client documentation.
  • Finance skills to understand financial statements, evaluate business cases, and quantify the impact of proposed AI initiatives.
  • Relevant experience in business advisory, digital transformation, or AI/technology consulting, ideally with SME clients.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple client engagements, and build trust-based professional relationships on-site.
  • Familiarity with AI applications in business (e.g., automation, analytics, process optimization) and a willingness to continuously update knowledge.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
