About Messung
Messung Services is a project delivery business operating across the UK and Europe, supporting major automation, robotics and engineering programmes for blue-chip clients.
Our approach is simple: Safety. Quality. Time.
We support clients through project and programme delivery, installation & commissioning, and HSEQ — either as standalone services or as part of a complete project delivery solution.
Having built a strong foundation within large-scale automation and logistics environments, we are now looking to expand into new markets including:
- Automation & robotics
- AMR / AGV systems
- Manufacturing
- Agricultural automation
- Pharmaceutical & life sciences
- Emerging technologies
- New automation businesses entering the UK and European markets
The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager / Technical Sales Professional who understands the automation and robotics industry and knows how to open doors.
This is a new business role.
We need someone who can identify opportunities, contact potential clients, visit businesses, build relationships and create a strong pipeline of work for Messung.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
