The Pitching In Northern Premier League is seeking an Independent Chair of the Board to provide strategic leadership during an exciting period of modernisation and growth.
Originally commencing in 1968, the Northern Premier League now comprises 88 Member Clubs competing across four divisions and serves communities throughout the North, Midlands, East and West of England at Steps 3 and 4 of the National League System.
Following a comprehensive Governance Review, the League has embarked upon an ambitious programme of governance reform and strategic development. We are looking for an experienced Chair or senior board leader who can provide independent leadership, drive organisational excellence and work collaboratively with our Member Clubs and stakeholders.

This is an outstanding opportunity for someone with experience of board leadership, governance, strategy and stakeholder engagement to make a genuine impact within English football.
Applications are welcomed from experienced Chairs, Non-Executive Directors, Chief Executives and senior leaders from sport, business, the public, regulatory and charitable sectors with experience including:
- Board-level leadership and governance experience
- Strategic vision and organisational leadership
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Commercial awareness and sound judgement
- Integrity, independence and collaborative leadership

Part-time remunerated appointment
