Independent Commercial & Implementation Consultant – London

Self-employed, independent commission-based appointment

About the opportunity

A UK-based business is appointing a limited number of independent commercial executives to develop the London market for a differentiated, compliance-led solution supported by a structured implementation protocol.

This is not a generic sales role. You will represent a specialist, evidence-led offer for organisations where operational risk, duty of care, audit-readiness and consistency genuinely influence decision-making.

You will open doors, qualify prospects and progress opportunities, with technical support from the business when required.

Target market

The focus is on food operators across London and Greater London, including:

  • Food manufacturing and contract packing
  • Bakery and confectionery
  • Retail food preparation and food-to-go
  • Commercial catering and foodservice
  • Multi-site operators and groups
  • GMP- or ISO 22000-oriented environments, where relevant

Typical stakeholders include:

  • Operations Directors and Managers
  • Technical, QA and Food Safety teams
  • Compliance and Health & Safety leads
  • Procurement and commercial decision-makers
  • Owners, Managing Directors and senior site leadership

What you’ll be doing

  • Identify and introduce qualified commercial opportunities
  • Use your network to secure appropriate stakeholder conversations
  • Understand operational, compliance and commercial requirements
  • Coordinate discussions with technical support from the business
  • Progress opportunities through qualification, proposal and decision stages
  • Maintain reliable follow-up and clean pipeline records
  • Support the development of a focused London market presence

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
