Independent Field Sales Partner - Industrial Engineering
Location: Midlands
Contract: Self-employed, commission-only
Hours: Flexible
Earnings: Uncapped commission
OPX Engineering is expanding its customer base across the Midlands and is looking for confident, professional field sales partners to introduce our engineering services directly to manufacturers and industrial sites.
We provide:
- Industrial maintenance and breakdown support
- Planned and preventive maintenance
- Engineering shift cover
- Press and CNC machine support
- Electrical and mechanical fault-finding
- Machine installations, modifications, and safety improvements
The role will involve visiting suitable industrial businesses, introducing OPX Engineering, identifying potential requirements, and arranging qualified meetings with engineering, maintenance, and operations managers.

You will not be expected to provide technical quotations. Our engineering team will attend technical meetings, survey the work, and prepare all proposals.
What we’re looking for:
- Confident and professional face-to-face communication
- Comfortable approaching factories and industrial businesses
- Sales or business development experience preferred
- Existing manufacturing contacts would be advantageous
- Self-motivated and able to manage your own territory
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
Commission:
- 20% of gross profit from new accounts you introduce
- Commission paid once the customer has paid OPX Engineering
- Ongoing commission for the first six months of each new account
- Uncapped earning potential
- Existing OPX accounts and current opportunities are excluded
