Job Description
Aretian Wealth is looking for honourable, personable, knowledgeable and experienced financial advisers who care deeply about their clients and want to be part of our growing team.
The role is based in London, with hybrid working available. We offer a permanent employed position, with remuneration and benefits discussed openly as part of the process.
The kind of people we are looking for
- People who care about what they do and how they act.
- People who want to do a good job for their clients.
- People who believe that our profession is about helping people and should not be weighed down by unnecessary corporate processes or overzealous rules that prevent advisers from doing the right thing for their clients.
We would like to hear from advisers who recognise themselves in this description and want to explore whether we could be a good fit for each other.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
Graduate Consultant — 2026 Scheme
Why you're a good match
StrongYour economics background and your summer at a regional bank line up with what PwC looks for on the consulting scheme. Applications close in four weeks.
See breakdownIt searches the market for you
Every day your agent scans the market matching roles against what actually matters to you, not just keywords on a CV.
Why you're a good match
You’ve got the grades and the economics background, and your bank internship is exactly the experience this scheme looks for. Apply soon — deadlines close within the month.
Experience fit
Your summer at the bank plus your econometrics coursework map directly to the day-one responsibilities on this scheme — client modelling, market briefings, and deal support.
Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
Does this sound like you?
- Maybe the firm you have worked for over many years has been bought. It used to be independent, but now you are expected to promote an in-house solution.
- Things you once advised on or administered easily now require a full advice case – needlessly - and it is getting worse.
- Your bonus scheme may be changing, becoming less transparent and leaving you unsure how it will work in practice.
- The powers that be may talk a good game about financial planning while considering removing tools such as Voyant simply because of the cost.
- Maybe you are concerned that, although some clients would follow you, the first year could still be fallow and that a new firm might not understand. We will.
- Or perhaps you are simply not enjoying it anymore.
What we offer
- The opportunity to join a young, growing advice firm.
- A supportive team who understand outstanding client service and want to do a good job every day.
- Technology and support that make advisers' lives easier. We would never expect you to post documents to top up an ISA or, worse, email a PDF for someone to print, sign and post!
- A financial-planning-first service, supported by Voyant.
- A compelling whole-of-market investment proposition.
- A focus on what really matters: product knowledge, tax planning and family engagement, all within the context of a tailored financial plan.
