Independent Financial Adviser

Leeds, LS8 | Hybrid Working | £60,000–£90,000 + Uncapped Earnings

An exceptional opportunity for an experienced Financial Adviser to join a growing, independent wealth management business and inherit a client bank of c.£20m FUM from day one.

A highly regarded, independent wealth management business is looking to appoint a Financial Planner to complement its growing team in Leeds (LS8). This is an excellent opportunity for an adviser who wants to develop their career within a growing business, whilst benefiting from an established client base and significant assets under management to work with immediately.

The opportunity

The successful candidate will inherit responsibility for c.£20m of existing client assets, providing an excellent platform from which to establish themselves within the business. The client bank consists predominantly of high-quality private clients, with an average client relationship of approximately £300k FUM.

You will take responsibility for developing and maintaining these long-term relationships, whilst also having the opportunity to grow your own client bank through referrals, networking and new business opportunities generated by the wider business. This is therefore not a cold-start proposition. You will have a substantial portfolio of clients to work with from the outset, allowing you to focus on delivering high-quality financial planning and building long-term relationships.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
