Financial Adviser/Planner
Financial Adviser – Established Client Bank
London & Home Counties | Employed or Self-Employed | Competitive Base + Excellent Earning Potential
We are looking for an experienced, qualified Financial Adviser to join our growing financial planning business, with a particular focus on pensions, retirement planning, deaccumulation and long-term client relationships.
This is an excellent opportunity for an established adviser who wants to step into a role with immediate client responsibility and significant income potential.
The Opportunity
As part of planned succession within the business, you will inherit a significant, established client bank from a retiring adviser, providing you with an existing portfolio of clients and recurring relationships from the outset.
The role is ideally suited to an adviser with strong pensions knowledge who is comfortable dealing with clients approaching and in retirement, while also identifying wider financial planning opportunities across investments, protection and estate planning.
We are flexible about the structure of the role and will consider both employed and self-employed arrangements, with a competitive remuneration package designed to reward both the servicing and development of the existing client bank.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
