We're hiring 2 experienced Independent Financial Advisers 📈

Want to build long-term client relationships rather than just service an inherited book? Friar Gate Independent Financial Services is growing, and we'd like to hear from you.

About the role

You'll give truly independent, holistic financial advice to a high-quality client base. You'll manage part of our existing client bank and build your own pipeline through referrals, professional connections, and introducer relationships.

You'll be:

  • Running client meetings and reviews, and working out what clients want from their financial planning
  • Researching solutions and presenting clear, well-evidenced recommendations
  • Producing high-quality suitability reports and keeping compliant records
  • Growing existing relationships and spotting further planning opportunities
  • Developing new business through networking and professional introducers

We're looking for:

  • An FCA-recognised qualification and a current SPS
  • A proven client-facing track record as a financial adviser
  • Strong technical knowledge, plus the ability to explain it simply
  • Experience in retirement, pensions, investment, and tax-aware planning (HNW and complex cases are a plus)
  • Commercial awareness without compromising client outcomes
  • High standards of compliance and professional conduct

Chartered or not, we want to hear from you. Chartered status is highly valued. We're equally interested in experienced advisers who can show the technical competence and client skills to work at a high standard.
