Freelance Business Application Developer – SQL / Python / Plotly / Dash
Codas is looking for an experienced independent IT specialist / developer to work with us on the design and build of bespoke business performance applications for UK clients. We’re looking for someone who can work across the full application build, from source-data discovery and SQL/database integration, through data transformation and business logic using Python/Pandas (or equivalent), to creating highly polished, interactive visualisations and applications using Plotly, Dash or similar technologies.

This is not a Power BI dashboard role — we want someone capable of developing genuinely bespoke, high-quality applications from the data layer through to the user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate directly with business leaders and our Codas team.
- Work independently with occasional visits to client sites across the UK.
- Majority of development work to be completed remotely.
Requirements:
- Comfortable working independently.
- Experience in SQL/database integration.
- Proficiency in data transformation and business logic using Python/Pandas (or equivalent).
- Experience in creating interactive visualisations and applications using Plotly, Dash, or similar technologies.
