Independent Living Assistant / Community Support Worker
Haringey & Enfield
£16 - £18 per hour (employed or self-employed)
Flexible shifts which would be 1 - 2 hours long, between 9am and 8pm
Do you enjoy helping people, solving practical problems and making a genuine difference in someone's day?
We are looking for reliable, thoughtful and friendly individuals to support older people living independently in their own homes.
This is NOT a personal care role. You will help older adults remain active, comfortable and connected by providing practical assistance and companionship.
Typical tasks may include:
- Sharing a cup of tea and conversation
- Meal preparation and/or cooking
- Light household tasks
- Accompanying clients on walks
- Helping to organise the home
- Supporting them with using technology
- Identifying potential scams or safety concerns
- Assisting with gardening and everyday practical tasks
- Encouraging independence and wellbeing

Experience in care is not essential.
