Want to be part of a UK hub, in a global business that is scaling rapidly, evolving fast and radically changing the decades-old delivery universe? If so, read on, as we’re looking for a Independent Operations Specialist to join our Network team!

Our mission? To switch up the status quo and become the UK’s leading out-of-home business. With a fast-growing network of thousands of smart lockers, hundreds of leading retail partners and the launch of our transformative Send service, we’re bringing freedom to anyone with a parcel.

At InPost UK, we’re building an unparalleled group of talent that’s committed to help us power our mission to reshape the way parcels move, and redefine eCommerce logistics. Our team is packed full of top-notch experts in e-commerce, technology, scale-up growth, sustainability, logistics and supply chain. We’re a passionate bunch with high ambition – we collaborate, innovate, support each other, and leave egos at the door.

About the role:

InPost is changing how the UK sends, collects and returns parcels, with 14,000+ lockers and counting. Every one of them started as a site that someone had to make happen.

That's where you come in. As our Independent Operations Specialist, you'll own the full deployment journey for InPost Lockers across the UK's independent sector, from signed deal to live locker. You'll manage a high volume of single-site deals at once, lead the contractors who deliver them and be the person our Business Development Managers trust to get it done.

This isn't an admin role. It's a chance to bring your operational experience to a fast-growing network, make real decisions and leave the process better than you found it.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

What you’ll own:

  • A high volume of single-site deals. Take sites from Closed-Won through survey, enabling works and installation, managing multiple single-site deals in parallel and keeping every one moving.
  • Site viability calls. Review surveys and decide whether a location works, balancing logistics, safety and our install principles. When a site looks lost, you'll be the one who finds another way: a new position, a different configuration or a creative fix.
  • Contractor performance. Plan and allocate weekly work orders (surveys, quotes, enabling works and installs), check work is completed on time and to InPost specification, and hold partners to account on quality and conduct.
  • Stakeholder relationships. Be the go-to contact for your Business Development Managers, landlords, commercial managers and installation partners. Lead weekly reviews, unblock problem sites and keep everyone informed.
  • Delivery against KPIs. Own your installation and operational KPIs, keep Pipedrive accurate and up to date, and escalate early when something needs senior attention.
  • Continuous improvement. Spot patterns across your deals (for example, surveys consistently coming back late), bring solutions to the Deployment Managers and lead improvement initiatives that make the whole process faster.

What you'll bring:

We’re looking for people who are ready for a fast paced environment, get their kicks out of problem solving and can balance getting today's stuff done, whilst building for the future. We’re looking for people with drive and natural curiosity – who want to do things differently. And do them brilliantly.

  • 3+ years' experience in operations, site delivery or deployment, ideally managing multiple single-site deals in property, retail estates, logistics or field services.
  • A proven track record of managing contractors or third-party suppliers, including scheduling, quality control and performance conversations.
  • Confidence managing a high volume of single-site deals at the same time, each at a different stage, without losing sight of the detail.
  • Sound commercial and practical judgement: you can assess a site, weigh the risks and make a call.
  • Strong stakeholder skills, from landlords and site managers to internal commercial teams. You're comfortable leading meetings, not just attending them.
  • An analytical eye for trends and data, and the drive to turn them into better ways of working.
  • Hands-on CRM experience (Pipedrive is a bonus) and strong written communication.

The InPost process:

We pride ourselves on our candidate experience. We want to make this as straightforward as possible, for you and for us! We will try our best to get back to you within a few days to let you know if we’d like to take you to the first stage. This normally involves a 20 minute chat with our Talent Team. If we both feel the connection, you’ll then go through another one or two stages, depending on the level of the role.

At InPost, we love uniqueness. Our strength is our people. We strive to create an open, equal, inclusive environment in which everyone has the opportunity to flourish and be themselves.
