Independent Recruitment Partner
Self-employed · no basic salary · Remote, UK · Placement fee + recurring commission
You’ve spent years building client relationships. What if those relationships could earn you recurring income?
Traditional recruitment follows a familiar pattern: find the vacancy, find the candidate, make the placement, earn the fee, then start again.
Koncept Offshore offers experienced recruiters a different model. You introduce UK businesses to dedicated offshore staff. We recruit, employ and manage the team from our offices in India. You earn a placement fee, then recurring commission for as long as the employee stays with the client.
The opportunity
Koncept Offshore provides offshore staffing and outsourcing for UK businesses: dedicated, full-time employees working from our offices in India, recruited around each client’s requirements. Typical roles include:
- Administration and back-office operations
- Customer service
- Bookkeeping, accounts and payroll support
- Data entry
- Recruitment support
- Compliance
- Digital marketing
The model works particularly well for businesses in logistics, e-commerce and wholesale, where admin, customer service, data entry and bookkeeping make up a large share of staffing costs. One UK logistics client started with a single placement and now has an offshore team of more than 60.
Your role
Your role isn’t to recruit or manage the offshore employees. It’s to open doors, win clients and grow those accounts over time.
What you’ll do
- Introduce Koncept Offshore to businesses in your network, and build new relationships
- Identify roles and functions suited to offshore staffing
- Arrange discovery conversations and understand each client’s requirements
- Work with our team on proposals and convert opportunities into clients
- Look after your clients and spot further roles as their accounts grow

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

How you earn
This is a self-employed, commission-only opportunity with no basic salary. For each offshore employee you place:
- Year 1: approximately 30% of the employee’s first-year contract value. That’s a 15% placement fee, paid once the employee completes a three-month probation, plus recurring commission from the first month.
- Year 2 onwards: approximately 15% recurring commission each year, for as long as the employee stays with the client.
Recurring commission is based on the hours the employee actually works. Percentages are rounded and based on standard roles working 176 hours a month, under the programme terms. Earnings are not guaranteed.

Your very own career expert that helps elevate your application to the next level.
You’ll ideally have relationships with business owners, managing directors, and HR, operations or finance leaders. You should be comfortable approaching your network and developing new business, and think in terms of long-term accounts rather than one-off placements.
Run a recruitment agency? We have a separate agency partnership. Mention it when you apply and we’ll send you the agency details instead.
Who this isn’t for
This isn’t a salaried role. If you’re looking for a fixed salary, guaranteed income or a steady supply of leads, it won’t suit you. Success depends on prospecting, opening conversations, winning clients and growing accounts.
