HFS Upholstery specializes in handcrafted Italian leather and fabric sofas that combine luxury, quality, and contemporary design and now a added to the portfolio is a collection of recliner sofas, corners, and motion dual motor hospitality chairs. As both manufacturers and importers, the company offers bespoke package solutions tailored to the needs of large commercial chains, showrooms, and retailers of all sizes. Each piece is created with a focus on craftsmanship and timeless elegance, enabling partners to elevate their product collections. HFS Upholstery is committed to building strong relationships with resellers by providing competitive deals, reliable service, and distinctive products that delight end customers.

Role Description

The Independent Sales Agent is a full-time, remote role responsible for identifying and developing new retail and commercial accounts for HFS Upholstery’s Italian sofa collections. Day-to-day tasks include:

The role involves maintaining regular contact with existing partners, managing the sales pipeline, and coordinating with internal teams on orders, inventory, and delivery timelines. The agent will also monitor market trends, collect feedback from clients, and contribute ideas to improve offerings and sales strategies. This position is commission-driven and best suited to a self-motivated professional comfortable working independently while representing the HFS Upholstery brand.

Qualifications

  • Strong sales and negotiation skills, with experience in B2B or wholesale environments, ideally in furniture, interiors, or related industries.
  • Proficiency in client relationship management, including prospecting, lead follow-up, and maintaining long-term partnerships.
  • Solid communication and presentation abilities, both written and verbal, to effectively demonstrate product value and bespoke solutions.
  • Working knowledge of basic business and commercial practices, such as pricing, margins, contracts, and order management.
  • Comfort using digital tools (CRM systems, email, video conferencing, and productivity software) to manage remote work and client interactions.
  • Self-directed mindset with strong organizational and time-management skills, capable of handling a remote, commission-based role.
  • Prior experience as an independent sales representative or agent is highly beneficial; familiarity with Italian or European luxury products is a plus.
  • Valid authorization to work as an independent contractor and the ability to travel occasionally to client sites or trade events, as needed.
