About OwlSOC

OwlSOC is an AI-powered Security Operations Center that plugs into the security tools businesses already run, Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender, and AWS Security Hub, and automatically investigates every security alert, 24/7, typically in under two minutes. Instead of a company needing to hire and staff an expensive round-the-clock security team, OwlSOC gives them that same coverage and analyst-grade reporting without the headcount, with every action still requiring human approval before anything happens. About the Role

We're looking for a driven Sales Specialist to bring on new business for OwlSOC across all three of our pricing tiers, Standalone, Core, and Compliance. This is a self-employed, commission-only role. You will not be employed by OwlSOC, there is no salary, no fixed hours, and no employment contract of any kind. You operate as an independent contractor, working the territory at your own pace and managing your own time entirely.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

You'll be responsible for identifying and reaching out to potential clients, running conversations that explain OwlSOC's value, and closing deals across any of the three tiers. There's no quota, no minimum activity requirement, and no timeframe you're expected to hit targets in, how quickly you build your pipeline and close deals is entirely up to you.

Compensation

  • Commission-only: 10% of the value of every sale you close.
  • Recurring: paid every month for as long as that client's contract remains active, not a one-time payout.
  • No cap: the more clients you bring on and retain, the more your recurring monthly income grows.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Identifying and prospecting potential clients who could benefit from OwlSOC's AI SOC service
  • Explaining OwlSOC's offering, how it works, what tier fits a prospect's needs, and the value it provides versus hiring an in-house SOC team or traditional MDR
  • Managing your own sales pipeline from first contact through to signed contract
  • Building long-term recurring income by growing and retaining an active client base over time

What We're Looking For

  • Self-motivated, comfortable working independently with no set schedule or oversight
  • Strong communication skills and confidence explaining a technical product to a non-technical buyer
  • Sales experience preferred, ideally in SaaS, cybersecurity, or a related B2B field, though not essential if you can demonstrate the right drive and ability
  • Comfortable working on a self-employed, commission-only basis with no guaranteed income

Why This Role

Unlike most sales roles, commission here doesn't stop the month after you close a deal. Every client you bring on keeps paying you every month their contract stays active, so your income compounds over time rather than resetting to zero. There's no employer relationship, no fixed hours, and no obligation, you're entirely in control of your own effort and your own earnings.
