Your new company

A globally recognised manufacturer is seeking an ambitious Indirect Buyer to join its procurement team. This is an opportunity to work within a fast-paced, innovative environment where procurement plays a critical role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and supporting a world-class brand.

Your new role

You will manage procurement activity across a range of commercial categories that directly support the customer journey, including:

  • Events & Experiential
  • Brand, Marketing & Communications
  • Network Development
  • Aftersales

Working closely with stakeholders across the business, you'll support category strategy development and lead sourcing projects from tender through to negotiation and contract award.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering sourcing projects that drive savings, value creation and risk mitigation
  • Leading supplier negotiations and managing commercial relationships
  • Supporting category strategy development and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Managing supplier performance and contract compliance
  • Partnering with Finance, Legal, Marketing and operational teams
  • Presenting sourcing recommendations and commercial strategies to stakeholders

What you'll need to succeed

  • Previous experience within Procurement, Purchasing or Category Management
  • Strong negotiation and supplier management capability
  • Experience delivering savings and commercial value
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
  • Ability to manage multiple sourcing projects simultaneously
  • A structured and analytical approach to procurement
  • Experience within Events, Marketing, Agency or Commercial Services categories would be highly advantageous.
