Indirect Buyer
As our Indirect Buyer, you will be responsible for the procurement of indirect goods and services across TGR Haas F1 Team, helping to ensure delivery, cost, and quality requirements are achieved in support of business operations and race team activities.
Reporting to the Indirect Procurement Manager, you will support the procurement of a broad range of indirect categories, including facilities, IT, marketing, HR, transport, consumables, garage equipment, and pit equipment. Working closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers, you will source goods and services, negotiate pricing and terms, manage purchasing activities, and help ensure procurement processes are delivered effectively within a fast-paced Formula 1 environment.
What You'll Be Doing
Indirect Procurement & Sourcing
- Procure indirect goods and services to support the wider team, ensuring delivery, cost, and quality targets are achieved.
- Operate within budgets and support the achievement of agreed procurement cost-saving targets.
- Source value-for-money suppliers and secure commercially appropriate quotations.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers and service providers.
- Collaborate with relevant departments to support effective sourcing strategies.
- Continually challenge cost, quality, and lead times in line with procurement objectives.
Supplier & Vendor Management
- Build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and service providers.
- Lead contract negotiations with external vendors for indirect goods and services.
- Onboard new vendors and ensure they are established within the ERP system in accordance with approved processes.
- Ensure the appropriate use of standard terms and conditions and non-disclosure agreements.
- Identify potential quality and delivery risks and support effective corrective actions where required.

- Process requisitions and raise purchase orders through the ERP system.
- Maintain accurate purchasing records and order books, ensuring information remains up to date.
- Expedite deliveries to required timescales and provide updates to stakeholders on order status.
- Liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders to support successful delivery outcomes.
- Resolve invoice queries in collaboration with suppliers and the Finance team.
Process Improvement & Compliance
- Follow procurement policies, procedures, and purchasing guidelines.
- Support best-practice procurement activities across the organisation.
- Provide feedback on opportunities to reduce costs and improve quality without negatively impacting the function of goods or services.
- Proactively support continuous improvement within procurement processes and ways of working.
What You Bring
- Minimum three years' experience within Purchasing, Procurement, or Supply Chain.
- Experience managing one or more procurement categories while balancing strategic objectives with effective day-to-day delivery.
- Demonstrated experience identifying quality and delivery risks and implementing effective corrective actions.
- Strong supplier relationship management and negotiation skills.
- Excellent organisational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Experience using ERP systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; experience with Power BI, Teams, and SharePoint is advantageous.
- Motorsport industry experience is beneficial but not essential.
- A collaborative approach and commitment to supporting team success.
