Job Description

We're looking for a commercially driven Indirect Buyer to join our Procurement team and play a key role in the development of the indirect procurement team by managing strategic supplier relationships, developing category strategies, and sourcing technical goods and services that support our high-performance environment.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced procurement professional who enjoys building strong stakeholder relationships, leading sourcing projects, and delivering tangible commercial value across technical, engineering, facilities, and operational categories.

The Role

Reporting to the Procurement Manager - Indirect, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end procurement activity across a range of technical and selected facilities-related categories, covering both operational expenditure (OpEx) and capital expenditure (CapEx).

You will work closely with teams across Engineering, Aerodynamics, R&D, Operations, and Facilities, providing procurement expertise, commercial challenge, and strategic sourcing support to ensure the business achieves the best value from its supplier base.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end sourcing activity across technical and facilities-related categories.
  • Develop and implement category strategies that improve value, supplier performance, and commercial resilience.
  • Conduct market analysis, supplier assessments, and competitive tender processes.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements and contracts, including terms and conditions.
  • Manage supplier relationships, performance reviews, KPIs, and improvement plans.
  • Drive cost savings, supplier consolidation, risk reduction, and value improvement initiatives.
  • Support stakeholder teams with procurement expertise throughout project lifecycles.
  • Ensure procurement activities remain compliant with company governance and processes.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of procurement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
