Role Overview

An exciting opportunity for a Senior Indirect Procurement Manager to join a leading organisation undergoing a significant procurement transformation. This contract role offers the chance to work on a dynamic portfolio of projects, providing strategic sourcing, negotiation, and stakeholder management expertise in a fast-paced environment.

Our client, a global organisation, is seeking a proactive and experienced procurement professional who can make an immediate impact in supporting their indirect procurement activities and transformation initiatives, working closely with offshore teams.

Key Duties And Responsibilities

Your duties as the Senior Indirect Procurement Manager will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

  • Lead indirect procurement activities, manage sourcing projects, negotiate with suppliers, and oversee contract management to ensure optimal value and compliance
  • Engage with stakeholders across the organisation to align procurement strategies with business needs
  • Support procurement transformation initiatives, working on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Collaborate with offshore procurement support teams to enhance process efficiencies
  • As the Senior Indirect Procurement Manager, you will support the Procurement Director by ensuring all activities adhere to company policies and deliver cost-saving solutions

Role Requirements

To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Senior Indirect Procurement Manager we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

  • A Degree or higher level in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Supply Chain Management, Procurement)
  • Proven indirect procurement experience with strategic sourcing, category management, and supplier negotiations
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
  • Experience working in complex environments such as Pharmaceuticals, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Medical Devices, or Manufacturing
