A rare opportunity to build, shape and lead an indirect procurement function from the ground up. Following a recent senior leadership restructure, indirect procurement has been established as a standalone business function, creating the opportunity for an experienced procurement leader to define the strategy, centralise spend and build a best-in-class procurement capability.

You'll be given the autonomy and backing to transform procurement into a strategic commercial function, working closely with senior leadership to influence business decisions and drive long-term value.

Leading a growing team, you'll be responsible for embedding structure, governance and best practice, while developing procurement into a function recognised for adding genuine commercial value across the organisation.

The Opportunity:

• Develop and execute the long-term indirect procurement strategy, creating a clear roadmap for the future of the function.
• Lead the transformation from a largely decentralised procurement model to a strategic, centralised function with robust governance and commercial control.
• Partner with the senior leadership team, becoming the trusted advisor for all indirect procurement activity across the business.
• Identify and unlock commercial opportunities, delivering cost optimisation, supplier innovation and long-term value across a diverse indirect spend portfolio, including IT, HR, Professional Services and Corporate Services.
• Build a high-performing procurement function, developing the existing team while introducing new ways of working, greater accountability and continuous improvement.
• Strengthen supplier relationships through strategic sourcing, effective negotiation and performance management, ensuring procurement supports both operational delivery and long-term business objectives.
