Indirect Procurement Specialist
Location: London / Hybrid (Typically 2-3 days in the office)
Type: Permanent, Full-Time
About the Opportunity
An established financial services organisation is seeking a Procurement Specialist to join its growing procurement function. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative and fast-paced environment where procurement plays a key role in supporting business operations, supplier governance, risk management, and value delivery across the organisation.
The successful candidate will work across a broad range of procurement activities, supporting the management of supplier spend, procurement processes, contract governance, stakeholder engagement, and sourcing initiatives.

The Role
Contract & Supplier Management
- Maintain and manage the organisation's Contract Management System (CMS).
- Ensure supplier contracts are accurately recorded and maintained.
- Produce reporting on supplier performance, contract renewals, governance activities, and risk management.
- Support supplier relationship management and governance reviews.

Procurement & Sourcing
- Support sourcing and contract renewal activities across a broad range of goods and services.
- Assist with RFIs, RFPs, tender processes, and supplier evaluations.
- Support contract negotiations and approval processes.
- Identify cost-saving and value-creation opportunities.
- Support supplier onboarding, renewals, and contract termination activities.
Governance, Risk & Compliance
- Support procurement governance and policy compliance across the business.
- Conduct supplier due diligence and risk assessments.
- Monitor and report on supplier-related risks.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of procurement procedures and documentation.
- Support regulatory and compliance requirements within a regulated environment.
Stakeholder Management
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
- Provide procurement guidance and support across business functions.
- Chair supplier and stakeholder meetings where required.
- Assist with procurement-related projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Requirements
- Experience within procurement, strategic sourcing, supplier management, or contract management.
- Experience supporting RFIs, RFPs, tender processes, and supplier negotiations.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Good understanding of supplier governance, risk management, and contract management principles.
- Experience working with procurement systems and reporting tools.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and general Microsoft Office skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
- Previous experience within a regulated environment would be advantageous.

Desirable Experience
- Indirect procurement experience.
- IT and technology supplier management exposure.
- Supplier relationship management (SRM).
- Contract lifecycle management (CLM).
- Procurement governance and compliance.
- Financial services, insurance, or other regulated sector experience.
- CIPS qualification or a desire to work towards one.
