Indirect Tax Leader | Growing Technology Company | London / Thames Valley (Hybrid)

Looking for a Big 4 or Top 10 alternative that doesn't mean giving up advisory work?

Our client is a fast-growing technology company that has built a large VAT practice within its business. The role combines advisory work with the backing of a product business: you'll have the client exposure, technical variety and commercial responsibility of practice, plus the pace, autonomy and long-term upside of a growing tech company.

They're hiring an Indirect Tax Leader to take charge of a large team of VAT professionals and drive the next stage of growth.

The role

This is a senior, autonomous leadership position with real ownership. You'll set direction, build the team and play a central part in winning new business. It suits a Director from practice (or an experienced Senior Manager ready to step up) who wants to shape a function.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
