Responsibilities
- Manage global VAT/GST compliance, including reviewing of returns, payments and audits
- Liaise with HMRC and other tax authorities on VAT queries
- Train local teams to better spot indirect tax issues
- Improve systems and processes for tax reporting across 30+ territories
- Advise on VAT/GST implications of contracts and business deals
- Lead VAT/GST setup in new markets and manage major tax changes

Requirements
- Relevant accounting or tax qualification – e.g. ACA/CTA/CIMA/ACCA or equivalent
- Strong background in international VAT/GST compliance, ideally with UK and SAP experience
- Able to explain tax issues clearly to non-tax colleagues and influence stakeholders
- Experience managing external tax advisors
