About the Job

Join a prestigious internationally recognised luxury brand as an Indirect Tax Manager role within the London based tax team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced, highly commercial environment, supporting a growing international business across the UK and overseas. You’ll provide practical VAT advice on a wide range of matters, including retail, e-commerce, supply chains, imports, exports and new business initiatives.

Working closely with finance and operational teams, you’ll have the opportunity to influence key decisions, improve processes and develop your experience within a high-profile global organisation. The role offers a strong balance of advisory work, compliance oversight and project involvement.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide clear and practical VAT advice to stakeholders across the business
  • Support new projects, commercial initiatives and international expansion
  • Advise on VAT matters relating to retail, e-commerce and cross-border transactions
  • Oversee VAT compliance and help maintain strong controls and processes
  • Support VAT audits, enquiries and relationships with tax authorities
  • Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes and data quality

Requirements

  • Strong UK VAT experience gained within practice, industry or a tax authority
  • Relevant tax or accounting qualification, or equivalent practical experience
  • Confident communicating technical VAT matters to non-tax stakeholders
  • Commercial, proactive and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment
  • International, retail, consumer goods or e-commerce experience would be advantageous but is not essential
