The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Indirect Tax professional to join a growing and highly regarded VAT team. You will work across a diverse portfolio of clients, ranging from entrepreneurial businesses to large multinational organisations, advising on a broad range of UK and international VAT matters.

This role offers significant exposure to complex advisory work, close collaboration with senior tax professionals, and the opportunity to broaden your expertise across indirect taxes, including customs-related matters.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Providing VAT advisory services to a varied client base across multiple industries
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships, acting as a trusted adviser
  • Identifying key technical issues and delivering practical, commercially focused solutions
  • Working closely with colleagues across tax, accounting and advisory teams
  • Supporting business development initiatives and helping grow the indirect tax offering
  • Mentoring and developing junior members of the team
  • Managing multiple assignments and ensuring a high standard of client service

About You

You are likely to be an experienced VAT professional looking to take the next step in your career within a collaborative and supportive environment.

You will ideally have:

  • CTA qualification or equivalent indirect tax expertise
  • Approximately 7-10 years' VAT experience gained in practice, industry, or a combination of both
  • Strong UK VAT technical knowledge
  • The ability to communicate complex technical issues clearly and effectively
  • Commercial awareness and a client-focused approach
  • Experience building relationships with stakeholders across different service lines
  • An interest in developing business development and leadership skills
