Senior Indirect Tax Manager - London (2 days a week hybrid working)
Energy & Infrastructure Group
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced indirect tax professional to join a highly regarded in-house tax team within a large and complex UK business.
This role offers exposure to a significant volume of highly complex UK-focused indirect tax work, combining technical advisory responsibilities with systems, controls, and business transformation initiatives.
Key responsibilities:
- Advising on complex VAT, CCL, and indirect tax matters.
- Managing indirect tax risk, controls, and HMRC engagement.
- Supporting systems, process improvement, and transformation projects.
- Partnering with senior stakeholders across the business.
- Monitoring legislative changes and driving best practice.

The successful candidate will have:
- Strong UK indirect tax experience, gained in either industry or practice.
- A sound understanding of VAT, CCL, and indirect tax risk management.
- Experience managing complex projects and resolving technical issues in a practical, commercial manner.
- The ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders across a large organization.
- Exposure to ERP systems, tax reporting tools, SAP, and/or finance transformation projects.
