Senior Manager – Indirect Tax
Energy & Infrastructure Group
Central London (Hybrid – 2 days per week)
We are partnering with a leading international energy and infrastructure business to appoint a Senior Manager, Indirect Tax into a key UK leadership role.
The Role
Reporting to the Head of Indirect Tax, you'll join one of the UK's most complex VAT environments, providing strategic advice across major infrastructure investments, business transformation initiatives, new commercial propositions, and international operations.
This is a highly advisory-focused position, offering the opportunity to work on complex technical issues, influence commercial decision-making, and partner with senior stakeholders across the business. You'll play a key role in ensuring indirect tax considerations are embedded into significant projects and strategic initiatives.

Key responsibilities include:
- Leading indirect tax advisory support across major business and infrastructure projects
- Providing strategic VAT advice within a highly regulated and complex operating environment
- Supporting transformation, automation and control enhancement programmes
- Partnering with tax and finance teams on cross-border matters
- Driving indirect tax input into new business propositions, including EV infrastructure and data centres
- Managing and developing members of the indirect tax team
About You
- Strong UK indirect tax / VAT technical expertise
- Experience operating within large, complex organisations
- Commercially minded with excellent stakeholder management skills
- Proven ability to navigate complex advisory issues and communicate practical solutions
- Experience supporting transformation programmes, with SAP transformation experience highly desirable
