About the Job
Working closely with Directors and Partners, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

- Managing a portfolio of indirect tax clients and acting as a trusted adviser
- Leading complex VAT and indirect tax advisory projects across a diverse client base
- Providing technical expertise on VAT structuring, transactions, HMRC enquiries and risk management matters
- Reviewing advisory and compliance work to ensure quality and technical excellence
- Building and developing long-term client relationships
- Leading business development initiatives, proposals and tender opportunities
- Identifying cross-selling opportunities across the wider firm
- Managing team resources, workflow and project delivery
- Mentoring and developing Managers, Assistant Managers and junior team members
- Supporting the strategic growth and development of the Indirect Tax practice
Previous Experience
- Extensive VAT and Indirect Tax experience gained within professional practice
- Current Senior Manager or experienced Manager ready to step into a leadership role
- Strong technical knowledge across VAT and wider indirect tax matters
- Proven track record of delivering complex advisory projects
- Experience managing high-value client relationships and portfolios
- Demonstrable success in business development and winning new work
- Experience leading, coaching and developing high-performing teams
- CTA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent professional qualification preferred
