Indirect Tax Technology Lead
Essex | Hybrid (4 days office-based) | Up to £150,000 + Bonus + Car + Excellent Benefits
An international market-leading business is seeking a Senior Manager, Indirect Tax Technology to act as the key link between Tax, Technology and the wider business.
This is a highly visible role focused on driving indirect tax transformation across Europe, with the opportunity to expand into a broader global remit over time. The successful candidate will play a leading role in a major SAP S/4HANA implementation programme, expected to run for the next 4-5 years, while also overseeing the optimisation of the organisation's indirect tax technology landscape, including its Vertex tax engine.

Key Responsibilities
- Leading indirect tax technology strategy and transformation initiatives.
- Acting as the primary interface between Tax, IT and business stakeholders.
- Driving tax requirements within a large-scale SAP S/4HANA implementation.
- Managing and challenging external tax technology providers, including Vertex.
- Overseeing tax data, reporting and process optimisation across Europe.
- Managing one direct report, with scope to build out the team further.
