Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate its Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals, and other customary conditions and approvals. Should you accept this position, it is anticipated that, following conclusion of the transaction, you would be an employee of DePuy Synthes, and your employment would be governed by DePuy Synthes employment processes, programs, policies, and benefit plans. In that case, details of any planned changes would be provided to you by DePuy Synthes at an appropriate time and subject to any necessary consultation processes.

Job Purpose
Enabling the business to maximise its investment in new staff members by minimising the time taken to reach competency in role through diligent registration and management of the process to sign-off.
Core Responsibilities
- Providing technical, operational, and administrative support to support the UK DS commercial organisation.
- Ensuring the onboarding of new starts efficiently by ensuring all processes are followed from contract signing to being approved as competent in the field to support cases with our implants.
- Enabling the business to maximise its investment in new staff members by minimising the time taken to reach competency in role through diligent registration and management of the process to sign-off.
- Focusing the majority of their time on delivering support services to help teams achieve day-to-day objectives.
- Supporting procedures to resolve mostly routine activities to support the onboarding and induction of new employees.
- Working collaboratively with BU leads and functional partners as required.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong team player, with high organisational/planning skills with the ability to get things done.
- Strong collaborator and ability to work across teams/DS matrix.
- Proven communication, presentation, and organisational skills.
- IT literate – ability to use Word, Excel, PowerPoint applications, and appropriate IT resources.
- Ability to analyse and interpret data when needed.
