SHIFT PATTERN

Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

  • To work with a team of operatives providing services such as directed by Industrial Manager or designated Supervisor
  • To follow reasonable instructions from Industrial Manager / Supervisor
  • To ensure time sheets are completed accurately and on time including break times recorded
  • To have a professional approach to Clients, Colleagues, Members of the Public always
  • To complete assigned duties to the best of your ability
  • To ensure that documentation is completed as requested by Industrial Manager / Supervisor
  • To be flexible in your work and assigned duties
  • Take ownership for your personal development, by attending training as requested and adhere to the training upon returning to the workplace
  • Willingness to attend training programmes as directed
  • Willingness to take on new skills to enhance the Company's profile and Service Offering
  • Perform risk assessments
  • Report hazards in line with company procedures
  • Report accidents, incidents and near misses of any nature to your Line Manager immediately, or prior to end of the shift
  • Take care of equipment - report any defective equipment to supervisor/manager immediately
  • Always Adhere to ABM'S Health & Safety guidelines
  • Comply with ABM's Policies & Procedures
  • Window Cleaning (High level & Low level)
  • Kitchen / Food Production Area Cleaning
  • Hard Floor Cleaning & Maintenance
  • Carpet and upholstery cleaning Programmes
  • Pressure-washing
  • Support the wider Soft Services function in the case of planned leave or absence
  • IT Equipment Cleaning
  • Car Park and Public Area Maintenance
  • Factory / Production Area Cleaning
  • Specialist Cleaning
  • Ad Hoc Cleaning Requests as directed from time to time
  • High level cleaning
  • Support the growth of the business, where possible, by up-selling and cross-selling to the customer and by passing on potential sales leads
  • Support any customer initiatives which could lead to longer term benefits to both the customer and ABM
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as reasonably requested by a member of the ABM Management team

Requirements

Essential Criteria:

  • Eligibility to work in Ireland/UK
  • Good written and oral communication
  • Willing to work flexible hours
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • High attention to detail

  • No minimum qualifications required

Desired Experience:

  • Experience within the relevant industry, or a similar environment
  • Time spent in a customer service environment
