Key Integrated Services is recruiting qualified Industrial Electricians to join our delivery team, supporting projects across the UK. The role will involve electrical installation, testing and commissioning, including data, containment and controls, across a range of industrial and commercial environments. You will work independently and as part of the wider delivery team, maintaining high standards of workmanship, safety and compliance. The role will involve UK-wide travel and may include periods working away from home depending on project requirements.

Location: UK Wide

Contract Type: 40 hours per week plus overtime

Salary: Negotiable depending on experience

Job Objectives

As an Industrial Electrician, you will support the delivery of electrical installations across projects throughout the UK, carrying out installation, testing and commissioning activities safely and to the required technical standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out onsite electrical installation, testing and commissioning
  • Install electrical systems, data, containment and controls
  • Complete works safely and in accordance with company and client procedures
  • Ensure installations meet relevant standards and project requirements
  • Work effectively both independently and as part of a wider project team
  • Communicate effectively with Site Managers, clients and other trades
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship and site housekeeping
  • Complete works within agreed project programmes and deadlines
  • Travel and work away from home when required
  • Work overtime and weekends where required to meet project demands

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Qualified Electrician
  • Current 18th Edition qualification
  • Testing and inspection qualifications or accreditations
  • Relevant industrial electrical installation experience
  • Good understanding of electrical safety and safe working practices
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Willingness to travel and work away from home when required
  • Flexibility to work overtime and weekends where necessary

Desirable

  • ECS card
  • IPAF
  • Previous experience within food and beverage, construction or commercial environments
  • Experience with data, containment and controls installations
  • Additional relevant health and safety qualifications

Training can be provided for appropriate candidates where additional certifications are required.
